      Adding power protection functions to handheld devices can help end users avoid unexpected malfunctions and reduce the amount of rework for customer terminal devices. This unique charger front-end circuit offers triple solid protection, ensuring maximum safety when charging handheld devices.
Input overvoltage challenge
    Input overvoltage conditions are caused by steady-state or transient voltage events, such as hot-swappable charging adapters, the use of non-regulated or incorrect adapters, or load transients, etc. The above situation may increase the voltage or put the equipment at a peak voltage, which may cause damage to the host system.
Overcurrent protection for high current input
    If the bus voltage is directly connected from the input to the system, the integrated power management device using a battery charger may experience input overcurrent. In many cases, there is no appropriate protection mechanism to limit the input of excessive current from the adapter to the system.
Battery overvoltage protection
