The world's first Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED HaLow router is now available on Mouser's website for $805
FCC, IC and RCM certified Wi-Fi 4 and HALOW-enabled remote routers to the market
Sydney, Australia and Irvine, California, USA, 20 February 2025 - Morse Microelectronics, the world's leading supplier of Wi-Fi HaLow chips, Today we announce the world's first Wi-Fi Alliance certified Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi HaLow router HaLowLink 1! This breakthrough device is FCC, IC, and RCM certified, enabling developers, system integrators, and manufacturers to take full advantage of the power of long-distance, high-performance Wi-Fi HaLow combined with traditional Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) connectivity in a compact router. HaLowLink 1 is now available on Mouser for 805 yuan.

Maureen Gallagher, Vice President of marketing, Wi-Fi Alliance, said: "The certification of HaLowLink 1 further highlights the important role of reliable, interoperable Wi-Fi HaLow products in the connectivity ecosystem. Wi-Fi HaLow's wide range and low power consumption make it a powerful solution for iot applications. Morse Microelectronics is committed to CERTIFIED through Wi-Fi? We plan to provide high-quality products to help popularize the products quickly."
The core of the router is powered by Morse Microelectronics' Wi-Fi CERTIFIED HaLow MM6108 chip, which provides users with long-range and low-power wireless communication. At the same time, the MT7621A dual-core CPU and MT7603E 2×2 Wi-Fi 4 solution are adopted by Mediatek for seamless integration with traditional Wi-Fi devices. The device delivers Wi-Fi 4 speeds of up to 300Mbps at 40MHz bandwidth and Wi-Fi HaLow speeds of up to 32Mbps at 8MHz bandwidth, ensuring a stable connection in a wide range of environments.
HaLowLink 1 offers a variety of usage scenarios, demonstrating versatile support for both Wi-Fi HaLow and traditional Wi-Fi networks. These applications include:
    1. Create a Wi-Fi HaLow network: Use HaLowLink 1 as an access point to establish a Wi-Fi HaLow network for client devices that support 900 MHz Wi-Fi HaLow, while providing connectivity for existing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 4, Ethernet, and USB-to-Ethernet devices.
2, Connect devices to Wi-Fi HaLow network: With HaLowLink 1, connect traditional Wi-Fi 4 and Ethernet devices to the Wi-Fi HaLow network to extend coverage. Connect the device to HaLowLink 1 via Ethernet, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or USB, and then transfer the data via Wi-Fi HaLow.
3, Extend the existing network connection range: connect a HaLowLink 1 to the central network, and then use another HaLowLink 1 device as an extender to provide 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for hard-to-reach areas, and connect back to the central network via Wi-Fi HaLow.
4, virtual cable: use two HaLowLink 1 instead of Ethernet cables, through Wi-Fi HaLow to achieve remote wireless connection. Simple setup to pair devices with the press of a button.

Michael De Nil, co-founder and CEO of Morse Microelectronics, said: "Morse Microelectronics is committed to driving the future of Wi-Fi HaLow technology. With the release of the world's first Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi HaLow dual-certified routers, we are providing developers with a powerful tool to explore the benefits of Wi-Fi HaLow's long-range, low-power connectivity, laying the foundation for Wi-Fi HaLow's widespread adoption across a wide range of applications."

Availability and certification information for major markets
Morse Microelectronics' HaLowLink 1 Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi HaLow routers have been certified to operate in North America (FCC), Canada (IC) and Australia (RCM), ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards. Although not yet available in other regions, Morse Microelectronics has confirmed that certification work is underway to launch various products for HaLowLink 1 in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific markets in the near future.

The Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi HaLow dual-certified router, currently priced at $805 on Mouser, provides an affordable and powerful solution for developers and businesses to explore Wi-Fi HaLow capabilities.
