Daliang Daliang Group launched a low power monitoring system solution based on Lianyong Technology products

On December 12, 2024, the world's leading semiconductor component distributor in the Asia-Pacific region, DDA Holdings, announced that its subsidiary, Chuanting, launched a low power monitoring system solution based on NOVATEK's NT98568 product.

Under the rapid application and close deployment of intelligent Internet of Things technology, the monitoring system, as an important tool for maintaining public safety and improving management efficiency, is constantly developing towards higher efficiency and lower power consumption. In order to meet the urgent demand of the market for green and energy-saving monitoring solutions, DANDA Dding launched a low power monitoring system solution based on the NT98568 product of LWING Technology. The solution aims to reduce the energy consumption of the entire system through the use of advanced software and hardware architecture, while ensuring that the image quality is not affected.

The NT98568 is a highly integrated SoC from Linwing Technology that features high image quality, low bit rate, low power consumption, and supports pre-roll and Always on Video modes for battery-powered applications. The SoC enables edge IP camera applications from 2Mp to 5Mp/8Mp with a powerful feature set. In configuration, The NT98568 is equipped with a dual-core ARM Cortex A7 CPU, next-generation ISP, H.265/H.264 video compression codec, video Processing engine (VPE), high-performance hardware DLA module, graphics engine, display controller, Ethernet, USB 2.0 Host/device, audio codec, RTC and SD/SDIO 3.0, providing users with a highly cost-effective edge IP camera solution.
In terms of software, the solution is built in Linux environment and the software architecture is HDAL (Hardware Device Abstraction Layer). HDAL is a layer between the transparent hardware driver layer and the chip driver layer, and its role is to simplify the implementation of functionality by turning the hardware abstraction layer into a common API independent of the chip. With HDAL, the solution can maximize the energy efficiency of the chip and enable users to quickly complete the development of related functions.
