Daliang Daliang Group launched an intelligent security monitoring program based on Lianyong technology products

On January 14, 2025, the leading international semiconductor component distributor in the Asia Pacific market, Dalianda Holdings, announced that its subsidiary has launched an intelligent security monitoring program based on NOVATEK's NT98692 chip.

With the growing public demand for daily security, the smart surveillance camera market is showing strong momentum. Whether in public Spaces, commercial facilities, or private homes, the need for intelligence for real-time monitoring, abnormal behavior detection, and efficient data storage and analysis is on the rise. In order to speed up the design and iteration of intelligent security monitoring system, Daliang Daliang has launched an intelligent security monitoring scheme based on Lianyong Technology NT98692 chip, which can support edge computing IP camera and back-end monitoring system XVR applications.

The NT98692 is a highly integrated SoC from Alliance Wing Technology, featuring high image quality, low bit rate and low power consumption. The SoC is equipped with quad-core ARM. Cortex? -A73 CPU, and integrate the new generation of ISP and AI ISP technology, to bring users unprecedented image processing experience. At the same time, the NT98692 also integrates H.265/H.264 video compression codec to ensure efficient and smooth video transmission. In terms of hardware configuration, the NT98692 is equipped with DSP, high-performance hardware DLA module and graphics engine to further enhance its processing power. In addition, it also has three display controllers, in terms of network connection, integrated Ethernet GMAC, PCIe Gen3, SATA and other high-speed interfaces, as well as USB3.0 and USB 2.0 host/device interfaces, to provide users with rich data transmission options. What's more, the NT98692 also has built-in audio codecs, RTC and SD/SDIO 3.0 interfaces to fully meet the diverse needs of edge computing IP camera and XVR applications.

In terms of software, the solution is built in Linux 5.10 environment and the software architecture is HDAL (Hardware Device Abstraction Layer). HDAL is a layer between the transparent hardware driver layer and the chip driver layer, and its role is to simplify the implementation of functionality by turning the hardware abstraction layer into a common API independent of the chip. With HDAL, the solution can maximize the energy efficiency of the chip and enable users to quickly complete the development of related functions.Thanks to the support of hardware and software, this solution can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of security prevention, and build a solid technical defense line for the security protection of homes, enterprises and other places.
