    On December 5, 2024, the leading international distributor of semiconductor components in the Asia Pacific market, DDA Holdings, announced that its Pinca has launched an AI voice assistant solution based on MediaTek's Genio 130 chip and ChatGPT function.

At the time of design, this scheme builds a Linux development environment (ex.VM + Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) and imports Genio 130 SDK to develop and implement OpenAI functions. Specifically, the button (SW2) on the Genio 130 Evaluation Kit (EVK) is used as a trigger mechanism to activate the microphone to start the sound. This audio data is then packaged into HTTP request packets and sent to the OpenAI server for processing. Once the audio response from the OpenAI server is received, the content is played through the speakers to complete the conversation with the person.

Based on Arm Cortex-M33 architecture processor, time pulse up to 300MHz, built-in up to 8MB UHS PSRAM, providing efficient computing power;

Genio 130 (MT7933) built-in HiFi4 DSP, 3 ADCs, 2 DAC channels, providing voice activity detection and trigger word detection functions, suitable for the development of IoT devices supporting voice assistant cloud services.
