FM4258 is a dual lithium-ion battery boost charging management IC with high integration and reliability. The FM4258 charging current can be configured with an external resistor. The charging system integrates three loops: input adaptive loop, constant voltage output loop, and constant current output loop, providing excellent performance for the charging system. The working frequency of the FM4258 boost switch charging converter is 650KHz, and the maximum input charging is 2.5A, with a conversion efficiency of 90%. The input voltage of FM4258 is 5V, with built-in adaptive loop, which can intelligently adjust the charging current and match all adapters.
FM4258 integrates success rate MOS and adopts asynchronous switch architecture, so that it only needs few peripheral devices in application, which can effectively reduce the overall scheme size and BOM cost. FM4258 integrates perfect protection functions: input overvoltage, input undervoltage, output short circuit, output overvoltage and chip over temperature protection.
The FM4258 provides the slim ESOP8 package type for customers to choose, and its rated operating temperature range is - 40 ℃ to 85 ℃.
