BCV3608 Overview:
    BCV3608 is a highly integrated IC with features such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and over temperature protection, capable of withstanding voltages up to 40V.
    BCV3608 is applied to the front-end of charging circuits or low-voltage systems, and can withstand abnormal input voltages up to 40V. BCV3608 has excellent hot swappable capability. With a 0.1uF capacitor connected to the VIN and VOUT terminals respectively, the hot swappable voltage can reach up to 36V, making it particularly suitable for resisting the burr effect of tpye C or other abnormal input voltages to avoid the harm caused by abnormal input faults to lithium batteries or low-voltage systems.
    When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage protection (OVP) threshold of 5.9V, the IC will quickly turn off the internal MOSFET to avoid the impact of abnormally high input voltage on the backend low-voltage system; When the input current of the low-voltage system is too high (OCP), the IC will quickly turn off the internal MOSFET to avoid the impact of abnormally high current input on the backend low-voltage system; At the same time, BCV3608 also has chip over temperature protection (OTP). When the junction temperature exceeds 165 º C (typical value), the internal FET is turned off. When the junction temperature cools down to 130 º C (typical value), the device exits thermal shutdown.
