CST6130 is a brushed DC motor driver suitable for small appliances, toys, electronic locks, advanced robots, digital products, and other small power tools and electromechanical equipment. Two logic inputs control the H-bridge driver, which consists of four N-channel metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) and can bidirectionally control the motor with a peak current of up to 5.5A. By using the current decay mode, the motor speed can be controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM) of the input. If these two inputs are set to low level and held for a period of time, the motor driver will enter low-power sleep mode. CST6130 can provide internal shutdown function for UVLO and overheat protection.
The CST6130 integrates four functions of forward/reverse/stop/brake with brushed motor, and can also drive one winding of the stepper motor to alternately drive and cooperate with another CST6130 to achieve the stepper function.
This device integrates various protection functions and can achieve internal shutdown function in case of faults, providing overcurrent protection, undervoltage locking, and overheating protection. In addition, a low-power sleep mode is also provided.
CST6130 offers e-SOP8 package with heat sink.
The CST6130 is a motor drive for brushed DC that can operate from 2.5V to 15V, providing peak current of up to 5.5A. A simple PWM interface can realize the connection and control of the controller. The CST6130 can enter low-power sleep mode when the system does not need to drive the motor.
