CST6115 is a brushed DC motor driver, suitable for small household appliances, toys, electronic locks, advanced robots, digital products, and other small power tools and electromechanical equipment. Two logic inputs control the H-bridge driver, which consists of four N-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) and is capable of bidirectional control of the motor at a peak current of up to 4.0A. By using the current attenuation mode, the motor speed can be controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM) of the input. If these two inputs are set to a low level and maintained for a period of time, the motor driver will enter a low-power sleep mode. CST6115 can provide internal shut-off functions for UVLO and overheat protection.
The CST6115 integrates the four functions of forward rotation, reverse rotation, stop and braking of brushed motors. It can also drive one winding of a stepper motor and alternately drive with another CST6115 to achieve the stepper function.
This device integrates various protection functions and can achieve internal shutdown in the event of a fault, providing overcurrent protection, undervoltage locking and overheat protection. In addition, a low-power sleep mode is also provided.
CST6115 is available in a SOP8 package with a heat sink.
CST6115 is a brushed DC motor drive that can operate from 2.5V to 12V, providing an average drive current of 2.1A and a peak current of up to 4.0A. A simple PWM interface can achieve connection and control with the controller. When the system does not require a drive motor, the CST6115 can enter a low-power sleep mode.
