Black Sesame Intelligence showcased its cutting-edge technologies equipped with Arm technology, including the Huashan A2000 all-scene general knowledge driving assistance chip, the Huashan A1000 automotive-grade high-performance driving assistance chip, and the Wudang C1200 family cross-domain fusion computing chip, which is specifically designed for multi-domain integration and integrated cabin and driving application scenarios. This exhibition not only highlights the outstanding performance of Black Sesame's intelligent technology, but also presents its latest achievements in the ecological field.

Hardware drivers enhance computing performance and functional safety
Hardware is the essential technical foundation for realizing the intelligence of automobiles. Through its rich chip product line, Black Sesame Intelligence meets the diverse demands of the industry for advanced functions of smart vehicles. Arm computing technology provides solid support for Black Sesame Intelligence's three innovative chip platforms in terms of computing power and security. Take the Huashan A2000 family series of chips as an example. This series of chips integrates industry-leading multi-functional units such as CPU, DSP, GPU, NPU, and MCU, achieving high integration and the ability to handle multiple tasks on a single chip. Among them, the powerful CPU processing capability of Arm Cortex-A78AE helps the Huashan A2000 family series chips efficiently cope with the complex computing tasks required for all-scenario assisted driving. Its functional safety-oriented design supports a hybrid criticality architecture and integrates key technologies such as hardware-level safety mechanisms, core separation, and lockstep, ensuring the high safety and certainty of the assisted driving system.
The Black Sesame Intelligent family chip products have been widely adopted by automakers, accelerating the improvement of vehicle intelligence levels. The Huashan A1000 family chips have been installed in mass-produced models such as Geely Starlight 8, Geely Galaxy E8, Lynk & Co 07, Lynk & Co 08, Dongfeng eπ007, and Dongfeng eπ008. On the first day of the auto show, Dongfeng Motor announced that several of its new models will adopt the Wudang C1296 chip based on Arm Cortex-A78AE and Mali-G78AE from Black Sesame Intelligence, and plans to reach mass production in 2025.
Software + ecosystem, promoting the coordinated development of the automotive industry
Software and ecosystem are the key sprint to achieve automotive intelligence in the "last mile". To accelerate collaborative innovation in the automotive industry and build an open industrial ecosystem, Black Sesame Intelligence has joined SOAFEE (an Extensible Open Architecture for Embedded Edges) led by Arm, working together with leading enterprises from the global automotive supply chain to deepen industrial collaboration. SOAFEE has enhanced the efficiency and portability of automotive software development, reduced development costs, and accelerated technological innovation through standardized development frameworks and tools. It has become an important force in promoting collaboration in the automotive industry. At present, more than 140 enterprises have joined SOAFEE, including automotive Oems, Tier 1 suppliers, chip companies, software companies, etc.
Furthermore, Arm SystemReady ensures that operating systems and applications can run on diverse Arm hardware without customization by defining standardized computing platform specifications, facilitating the rapid deployment of ARM-based systems on all operating systems (including Linux, Windows, BSD, etc.). It has played an important role in promoting the development of SOAFEE. It is worth mentioning that Black Sesame Intelligent is the first domestic automotive chip enterprise in China to pass the Arm SystemReady compliance self-certification. Its Wudang C1200 family chips have officially passed the compliance self-certification. This not only further promotes the standardization process of the automotive industry, but also provides strong support for the expansion and improvement of the software ecosystem.
Build the computing power foundation for future automobiles
Relying on over two decades of technological accumulation and industry insight in the automotive field, Arm provides comprehensive support to automotive chip and OEM partners, continuously promoting the evolution of automotive intelligent technologies. At present, 94% of the world's automakers have adopted Arm technology in their latest models. When it comes to specific scenarios, Arm technology has supported 80% of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems and 65% of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
