The DRV8837/DRV8838 provides an integrated motor drive solution for cameras, consumer products, toys and other low-voltage or battery-operated motion control applications.
The DRV8837/DRV8838 is capable of driving a DC motor or other device such as a solenoid. The DRV8837 output driver block consists of an N-channel power MOSFET configured as an H-bridge to drive the motor winding. An internal charge pump generates the required gate drive voltage.

The DRV8837 has a PWM (IN/IN) input interface; The DRV8837/DRV8838 has a PH/EN input interface (here the DRV8838 has a PH/EN input interface). Both interfaces are compatible with industry standard devices. Internal shut-off functions for overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, undervoltage latching and overheat protection are also available.
The DRV8837/DRV8838 is available in a WSON (8) package.
