XPM7105 Description:
XPM7105 is a highly integrated wireless charging transmission control SOC, integrating four 30 NMOS to form an H-bridge, which can ASK decoding by voltage and current at the same time, compatible with WPC 5W QI standard, supporting A11 and A11a coils.
The XPM7105 periodically sends pings to search for devices that need to be powered, and to determine whether there are other metal objects on the charging board. After confirming the power receiving device, power is provided to the power receiving device and the power of the transmitting coil is adjusted by adjusting the PWM frequency according to the feedback information. The XPM7105 supports 110khz-205khz PWM operating frequency.
XPM7105 is packaged in SOP16. The XPM7105 offers a complete, highly integrated 5W wireless charging transmitter solution that significantly reduces PCB size and BOM costs.
XPM7105 Foreign body detection function
XPM7105 has a very flexible foreign body detection mechanism, only need to adjust the external FOD pin pull-down resistance to configure different sensitivity, the smaller the resistance, the higher the sensitivity, the external default pulldown resistance is 15K.
XPM7105 Power adaptive
The XPM7105 features dynamic power management for USB power supplies with insufficient power supply capacity to maintain charging status without interruption. When the system detects that the input voltage is lower than 4.3V, the power adaptive function is activated to reduce the transmit power and maintain it. When the input voltage returns to more than 4.5V, the system exits this state.
