The CST4056H is a highly integrated, cost-effective single lithium-ion battery charging chip that uses constant current/constant voltage linear control and requires fewer external components, making the CST4056H ideal for portable applications. At the same time, it can also be suitable for USB power supply and adapter power supply.
    The CST4056H uses an internal PMOSFET architecture with an anti-reverse charging path that eliminates the need for external detection resistors and isolation diodes. The thermal feedback automatically adjusts the charging current to limit the chip temperature under high-power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The full voltage is fixed at 4.2V. The charging current can be set with an external resistor through the PROG pin, up to 1A.
When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power supply) is removed, the CST4056H automatically enters a low current state, and the battery leakage current is below 3uA.
    Additional features of the CST4056H include a charge current monitor, input overvoltage protection, undervoltage latching, automatic recharging, and two status pins to indicate the end of charge and input voltage access.
