HAA9807 Description:
The HAA9807 is a built-in BOOST module with anti-crack-proof, Class AB/D switchable mono audio power amplifier that delivers up to 13W continuous output for 2Ω loads.
HAA9807 built-in unique anti-crack function, can automatically adjust the amplifier gain according to the size of the output signal, to prevent the output clipping distortion, to achieve a more comfortable hearing experience.
HAA9807 has five boost voltages to choose from, which can be used for different output power requirements, and one pin controls five boost voltage values, which is simple and convenient.
HAA9807's fully differential input architecture and extremely high PSRR effectively improve HAA9807's ability to suppress RF noise.
The HAA9807 has a very low turn-off current, which greatly extends the standby time of the system. OCP, OTP, UVLO protection enhances system reliability. Turning POP-click suppression on and off improves the auditory perception of the system and simplifies system debugging.
The HAA9807 is available in an ESOP10 package with heat sink.

HAA9807 BOOST Input power filter capacitor selection:
For the BOOST booster circuit, the current of the power supply is mainly flowing into the inductor, which is used to store energy and release it to the load, so the current flowing through the inductor is very large, and the inductor has high-frequency ripple, which requires a low ESR capacitor to absorb the ripple on the power supply and reduce EMI. In addition, because the BOOST circuit is to supply power to the post-stage power amplifier, the inductor current will also change with the frequency and size of the audio signal, so a relatively large capacitor is needed to reduce the impact of load changes on the input voltage and improve the performance of the circuit. Typically, a 10uF X7R capacitor with a voltage of more than 10V and a 470uF electrolytic capacitor are required as power filter capacitors and placed as close to the inductor as possible.
HAA9807 BOOST Output Capacitance:
The capacity value and ESR of the boost output capacitor directly affect the stability of the boost output voltage, thus affecting the overall performance of the power amplifier. It is recommended to use 470uF low ESR electrolytic capacitor in parallel with X7R type ceramic chip capacity 106+105 collocation mode to keep the capacitor voltage above 16V.
