The HT8313 is a Class D audio power amplifier capable of producing 5.5W of continuous power at VBAT=5V, THD+N=10%, and 4Ω load conditions. The power supply voltage of the Class D power amplifier is provided by the built-in adaptive charge pump booster module. The booster module does not boost the voltage at low power, which can effectively improve the battery playback time.

The biggest feature of the HT8313 is the anti-clipping distortion (ACF) output control function, which can detect and suppress the output signal clipping distortion (broken sound) caused by the input music and speech signal amplitude is too large, and can also adaptively prevent the output clipping caused by the drop in the boost voltage, significantly improve the sound quality and create a very comfortable listening enjoyment. And protect the speaker from overload damage.

HT8313 has the free switching function of Class AB and Class D, and can be switched to Class AB audio power amplifier mode at any time when it is troubled by Class D power amplifier EMI interference (charge pump boost function is turned off at this time).

The HT8313 integrates filter-free digital modulation technology to drive the speaker directly and minimize the distortion and noise of the pulse output signal. The output does not require a filter network, and very few external components save system space and cost, making it ideal for portable applications.

In addition, the HT8313 has an internal fixed 28dB gain, built-in turn-off function to minimize standby current, and integrated output overcurrent protection, on-chip overtemperature protection and power undervoltage abnormal protection.
