CS8508E Description:
The CS8508E is a high-efficiency, ultra-low EMI, 8.0W mono audio amplifier. With a supply voltage of 7.4V, the CS8508E can output 6.8W for a 4-Ohmload. CS8508E in Class D mode, the filter-free PWM modulation structure reduces external components, PCB area and system costs, and also simplifies the design. 2.5-8.8V wide voltage operating range, Class D mode up to 90% efficiency, Class AB Class D mode can be switched Ω load output 6.8W power. The fast startup time in Class D mode and the small package size make the CS8508E the most suitable audio amplifier for dual Li-ion batteries powered in series.
The CS8508E's fully differential architecture and extremely high PSRR effectively improve the ability to suppress RF noise, and eliminate the BYPASS capacitance of traditional audio amplifiers.
CS8508E has built-in overcurrent protection, short circuit protection and overheat protection, which effectively protects the chip from being damaged under abnormal working conditions.
